Patrick Z. Abuzeni, MD, DDS, is a board certified physician with extensive experience in Maxillofacial Surgery as well as Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery.  He began his medical training in Sweden, his native country, and continued his studies in the United States at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Coral Gables, Florida.  Dr. Abuzeni completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, where he was honored as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He underwent his fellowship training in Cosmetic Surgery in Newport Beach, California and is now certified by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.  He maintains a cosmetic surgery practice in Coral Gables and also serves on the Emergency Room Committee at HealthSouth Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables.

Dr. Abuzeni is responsible for the creation of a unique concept for enhancing specific areas of the body and correcting asymmetries using autologous fat transplantation and platelet rich plasma.  With a background in teaching as well as research, Dr. Abuzeni understands the importance of the precise and meticulous detail that is necessary in the art of cosmetic surgery.  He has lectured and taught physicians from across North America in numerous fields of medicine and aesthetic surgery.  Dr. Abuzeni has written several medical articles which have been published in The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgeons and is also a regular columnist for Aging with Style Magazine.
